PermaCorp Manitoba is hiring an experienced installer for commercial railing, glass, and metal projects across Winnipeg.
No railing experience required - we train you on our systems. If you have solid hands-on trades skills and want to take real ownership of jobs from site measure through close-out, we want to talk.
What you'll be doing
- Install aluminum, steel, and miscellaneous metals railing systems on commercial and institutional jobsites
- Install glass guardrail systems (base-shoe, laminated, and tempered glass)
- working in a 2-3 person install crew
- Read shop drawings and architectural plans
- Verify plumb, level, alignment, and tolerances to spec
- Take site measurements to support fabrication
- Coordinate with general contractors and site supervisors
- Identify and resolve installation deficiencies through to close-out
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized worksite
What we're looking for
- 3+ years experience in any skilled trade - framing, siding, glazing, windows, concrete, scaffold, or similar
- Confident in reading shop drawings and working to tolerances
- Willing to step into a crew lead role as you grow into the job
- Railing experience is a bonus, not a requirement
