Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with DRP preferred shopare highly valued to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing to meet manufacturer standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively during repairs
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in collaboration with the team
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete repairs within designated timeframes
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment required
- Experience working with automotive body repair techniques such as dent removal, panel alignment, and refinishing
- Mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
