Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a welcoming atmosphere
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Explain recommended services and repairs clearly, ensuring customer understanding
- Prepare repair orders and communicate service details effectively to technicians
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of service
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience is highly preferred; familiarity with automotive repair processes is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle systems and communicate effectively with technicians
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Experience with cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of automotive industry terminology is advantageous
