We’re looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) licensed in Saskatchewan who brings a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and be mentored and has a strong sense of responsibility to join our fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
About the Role
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively within our compounding lab and dispensary. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, likes working independently as well as with a team and thrives in a setting where speed and precision go hand‑in‑hand. Responsibilities
- Assist with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing according to prescriptions
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventories and transactions
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage prescription refills and verify insurance information for billing purposes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with Kroll software systems and inventory management tools
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Strong interpersonal skills
