Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to promote oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning by providing support during examinations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix
- Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments.
- Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario from an accredited school.
- Prior experience (minimum 3 years experience) working in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations, including bilingual capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
