Modpro Egress Solutions is a Specialty Contractor based in Whitby Ontario in the Egress Window and Separate Entrance space. Our mission is to become Canada’s #1 trusted Egress Window company. We are looking for an Enthusiastic, Self driven Individual who has concrete cutting & window Installation experience to be a critical Employee in this local, growing company. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the owner, and expected make a great impression on customers and deliver their project with a high degree of professionalism. In this role you will be setting up and operating a wall mounted concrete track saw, installing egress windows and window wells primarily in the Durham Region and GTA. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following traits:
· Highly self driven, reliable, and motivated to work hard in a job with exposure to residential construction, business, sales with a lot of room for growth.
· No Diploma/Degree or experience is necessary, but experience in outdoor Construction will be considered an asset. A candidate with experience installing windows, carpentry, concrete cutting, masonry or direct experience with Concrete Wall Saws/Egress Window installation would be an example of a great candidate for this position.
· Experience operating a Husqvarna WS482HF Concrete Wall Saw would be an asset. Experience with Concrete drills, Caulking guns, Window fit up, Framing, would be ideal.
· Must be physically fit, as concrete wall cutting equipment is very heavy. Your job will be to set up and operate this equipment (Google Husqvarna Wall Saw WS 482). The concrete saw main unit is 65.4 lbs it must be lifted and maneuvered frequently by hand.
· Be able to work diligently on a construction site with a keen eye for hazards and safety. Willing to work in muddy environments and wear PPE (hearing protection, glasses, dust masks, etc.)
· Experience driving company vehicles will be an asset. Experience driving with trailers and backing up trailers is required. Owning a truck capable of towing trailers would be an asset.
· Hourly Rate ranges from $27-30/hr based on level of experience.
