Hostbnb is a family run Vacation Rental Agency in Midland, ON. We are currently seeking a part time cleaners for our busy summer season! Cleaner would be responsible for guest turnovers at various Airbnb rental properties around Midland, Tay, Penetang and Tiny, as well as linen laundering in our Midland office. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented, trustworthy and hard-working. The selected candidate will attend Airbnb homes and clean the suites after guests checkout.
Responsibilities:
- Submit before and after photos of the property's condition upon arrival and after full detailed cleaning
- Report any missing/damaged items or furniture
- Follow check-list providing thorough cleaning throughout the home including but not limited to vacuum/sweep/mopping floors and carpets, washing dishes, laundry, making beds, sanitizing tables and countertops, cleaning bathrooms and washing windows.
- Remove garbage from rooms and dispose in proper bins located outside of the property
- Perform an inspection of the exterior of the home for any damages
- Clean BBQ after each use
- Perform all cleaning in a timely manner
- Ability to move larger objects e.g. beds/ couches to clean underneath them
This is a part-time, seasonal position from May/June - September 2026. The ideal candidate will be available to work an average of 10-20 hours a week, MUST be available to work 4-6 hour shifts on Sundays (shifts are generally from 10am-4pm), and be flexible for other dates as needed.
Must Haves:
-Great at communication, able to respond promptly to phone calls/ text messages/ emails
-Has strong attention for detail (previous hotel or Airbnb cleaning experience is an asset)
-Able to accept and apply constructive criticism
-Has a smart phone that can send, and receive pictures
-MUST HAVE a reliable car to travel to and from cleaning appointments.
-English speaking
-Cleaning experience is an asset but not mandatory, paid training will be available.
