Duties
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify issues accurately
- Carry out equipment repair and welding as required to restore vehicle functionality
- Assist with vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move parts or components safely
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
- Experience with assembly, disassembly, and repair of automotive parts
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly

Technician RRSP Bonus: $1000 - $6000 annually (based on production)
