Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Baker specializing in Turkish Bakery & Flatbread, including lahmacun, pide, and pugaca. Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of Turkish breads, flatbreads, lahmacun, pide, and pugaca according to authentic recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and creativity when required
- Assist in food preparation tasks including mixing, shaping, and assembling ingredients for various baked items
- Ensure all baked products meet quality standards through proper handling, baking times, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle packaging of finished products for retail or wholesale distribution
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth bakery operations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining products and assisting customers when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a baker with expertise in Turkish bakery items such as flatbread, lahmacun, pide, and pugaca
- Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Background in restaurant or food industry settings preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to operate bakery equipment efficiently and safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience in food packaging and customer service is advantageous
- Passion for authentic Turkish cuisine and baking traditions
