About the Role
We are a fast growing, community-focused, social service agency committed to
supporting individuals and families with dignity, respect, and compassion. We are
seeking a dynamic, organized, and people-centred Office Manager to support our team
and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, coordinating staff
schedules, and contributing to a positive, collaborative, and welcoming workplace. The
Office Manager plays an important role in supporting front-line staff so they can focus on
delivering high-quality services to the community. The Office Manager is often the first
point of contact for our clients, families, partnerships to reach out to.
Key Responsibilities
Organize, maintain, and manage physical and electronic files in accordance
with confidentiality and privacy requirements
Help coordinate and manage staff schedules, including shift planning, coverage,
and changes
Support daily office operations and administrative functions
Act as a central point of contact for staff, clients, and external partners
Maintain accurate office records and documentation
Order office supplies and manage inventory
Provide administrative support related to onboarding, meetings, and internal
communications
Ensure the office environment is organized, professional, and welcoming for staff
and clients
Identify and implement improvements to office systems and workflows
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in an office management or administrative role, preferably in a social
service or a community-based setting
Sound understanding in the field of social services as it relates to service delivery
Demonstrated experience with staff scheduling and coordination
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
High level of discretion and understanding of confidential and sensitive
information
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and scheduling or database tools
Proficiency in creating one-page handouts, information sheets etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Keen eye for detail
Positive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude is a must
Creative and proactive approach to improving office processes
