The Guardian South Condominium is seeking a skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team in Calgary.
The Guardian South Tower, is a prominent landmark in the Calgary skyline. The building consists of 44 floors and contains over 316 residential units.
We are seeking a friendly, professional team member. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting, where excellent communication and guest relations are essential. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele and enhance guest experiences.
Duties
- Greet guests and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
- Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and special requests to ensure a memorable stay
- Maintain front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures when necessary
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and professionalism to resolve issues effectively
- Keep the reception area organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or managing guest records
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or customer service roles preferred
- Hotel experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific duties
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest services is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
