WE ARE HIRING INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS PART-TIME
We are currently looking to recruit mature-aged Home Support Workers & Housekeepers residing in Ottawa and surrounding area.
We currently have a very high demand for candidates (age 40+) interested in supporting our seniors.
As a home support worker, you are required to be able to provide the following services:
We kindly ask that you meet our minimum requirements:
- To run errands with your own vehicle
- Meal preparation or cooking; laundry; ironing; changing bed linens; sorting /organizing closets, drawers, paperwork & other items; computer/phone help; grocery pick-up & drop-off; storing away groceries; taking out trash bins
- Any other assistance needed around the home
- Previous home support worker experience
- Able to commit to each client we pair you with on an ongoing weekly basis
- Flexible work availability throughout the week
- Able to provide at least two professional references from a supervisor or manager and one personal reference from a colleague or friend
- Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector 1 year recent, or willing to obtain one
As a housekeeper, you are required to be able to provide the following services:
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Able to commit to each client we pair you with on an ongoing weekly basis
- Flexible work availability throughout the week
- Able to provide at least two professional references from a supervisor or manager and one personal reference from a colleague or friend
- Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector 1 year recent, or willing to obtain one
- Asset: Valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and excellent attention to detail
- Covid Vaccinations is an asset
