Responsibilities:
· Interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
· Install stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
· Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
· Adjust, repair or replace defective parts on machinery
· Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up machineries
· Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
· Sharpen and maintain machine tools
· Detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
· Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machines
· Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
· Perform other related duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
· High School or Equivalent
· Licensed Industrial Millwright with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
· Highly Flexible
· Able to effectively communicate both verbal and written
· Working knowledge of Safety Standards and Protocols
· Experience using PLC”s is an asset
· Competence in MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Physical ability to lift 45 pounds
· Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity and dust
