Responsibilities
- Execute every guest interaction in accordance with East Side Mario's Steps of Service.
- Engage every guest and create excitement through family-focused, genuine hospitality.
- Set the tone for an exceptional guest experience by being friendly, fun, energetic, and attentive to detail.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge, confidently recommending menu items, beverages, and promotions.
- Practice suggestive selling and upselling with every guest to enhance their experience while increasing Average Guest Check (AGC) and add-on sales.
- Promote and engage guests in all Local and National promotions.
- Actively encourage satisfied guests to leave a 5-Star Google Review, helping build the restaurant's online reputation.
- Perform teamwork duties including food running, expo support, and assisting teammates whenever needed.
- Perform all tasks efficiently with a strong sense of urgency.
- Prioritize responsibilities, remain flexible, and adapt quickly to changing business demands.
- Follow all beverage recipe specifications without deviation.
- Adhere to all cash handling and payment procedures.
- Complete all opening, closing, cleaning, and daily accounting responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain exceptional organization, cleanliness, and sanitation in all work areas at all times.
- Follow the principles of B.L.A.S.T. to ensure every guest concern is resolved positively.
- Complete all required RU Game Learning Paths in a timely manner.
- Complete RU Game Daily Questions every shift.
- Attend all required meetings, including General Staff Meetings and Alley Rallies.
- Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, systems, and standards, including Liquor Laws, Health & Safety, Food Safety, and House Policies.
- Treat co-workers and managers with respect at all times
- Maintain a positive attitude, and your composure, even when under pressure
- Act in a self-directed manner. Look for solutions to issues
- Assist in other areas or with FOH priority tasks when required
- Adhere to uniform requirements. Maintain good personal hygiene

Requirements
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering tasks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws and regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
