As an Lead- QA Engineer- Appigee , you will make an impact by implementing and validating robust API security controls and developing automated test frameworks that ensure the highest quality and security standards across our API ecosystem. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with development teams and line-of-business stakeholders. In this role, you will:
- Design and implement API security controls within the Apigee platform, including proxy, policy, and shared flow configurations.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Postman and other API testing frameworks to ensure coverage and reliability.
- Ensure seamless integration with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, enforcing version control and deployment best practices.
- Partner with development teams and LOB stakeholders to drive quality and security standards across all API solutions.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with API security principles throughout the development lifecycle. Work Model

- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or API Development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Apigee proxy, policy, and shared flow design.
- Proficiency in Node.js for API development and testing.
- Strong understanding of API security principles and implementation.
- Proficiency with Postman and API testing frameworks, along with experience using GitHub for integration and version control best practices. These will help you stand out
- Meticulous attention to security and quality standards with a track record of delivering high-quality, secure API solutions.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across development teams and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevSecOps practices.
