ABOUT THE JOB:

This is a short-term opportunity supporting mining operations in a mill setting.

Perform welding tasks on mining equipment, machinery, and structures using arc, MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Maintain and repair damaged mining equipment and structures, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Ensure the work area is safe before beginning any welding tasks.
- Train and mentor junior welders and other staff on welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Document and report any issues or irregularities observed during welding operations.
- Keep up to date with developments in welding technology and techniques.
Rotation: Monday- Thursday, 7am- 5:30pm
CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO TIMMINS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Welding tickets.
- All Levert in-house testing and Site inductions.

Working at Heights certification.
-
LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certification.

Experience performing welding tasks in industrial or mining environments.
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including arc, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
