Job Overview
The Construction Site Lead is an excellent opportunity for anyone with construction experience looking to further their career towards a superintendent role. The Site Lead will work on both larger projects as support to an experienced superintendent, or running smaller projects under the guidance of the General Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Working with the Superintendent, schedule subcontractors, consultants, vendors and material/ equipment deliveries to ensure the timely completion of the project
- Regularly review quality of work performed to ensure subcontractors are compliant with contracted scope of work, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, health and safety and environmental regulations
- Assist in maintaining and updating the project schedule, identify conflicts in the progress of the work and communicate issues to project team for resolution, identifying and managing any deficiencies and assist in the completion of punch lists
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction processes effectively.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow on-site.
- Maintain daily log of activities on site, provide a weekly look-ahead schedule complete with photos and maintain project documentation on Procore
- Provide additional on-site carpentry/labour support and ensure general site cleanliness
- Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Experience
- 3 - 5 years in an on-site construction role
- Knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Familiarity with construction management software, including Procore and Bluebeam, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability and desire to learn and progress towards a superintendent role

Pay: $37.00-$47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
