Closing Kitchen Supervisor
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Closing Kitchen Supervisor to lead our evening kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and takes pride in maintaining high food quality, organization, and team morale.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the kitchen team during evening and weekend shifts
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Supervise closing procedures, cleaning standards, and food safety practices
- Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and receiving deliveries
- Support menu development, feature creation, and recipe consistency
- Train, motivate, and coach kitchen staff
- Maintain portion control, prep levels, and quality standards
- Work closely with management to improve efficiency and kitchen performance
- Handle problem-solving and communication during service
Requirements
- Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and lead a team in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and strong leadership skills
- Experience with ordering and menu planning is an asset
