Job Summary
Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (WRGC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing young athletes, fostering a positive training environment, and helping gymnasts reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will coach recreational and/or competitive athletes, depending on experience, while promoting teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a lifelong love of the sport.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver safe, engaging rhythmic gymnastics training sessions appropriate for various ages and skill levels.
- Teach and demonstrate proper body technique, flexibility, apparatus handling, choreography, and performance skills.
- Monitor athlete development and provide constructive feedback to support individual progress.
- Prepare athletes for performances, evaluations, and competitions.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating training environment.
- Ensure all Gymnastics Saskatchewan and Gymnastics Canada safety standards and policies are followed.
- Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, fellow coaches, and club leadership.
- Participate in coach meetings, professional development opportunities, and club events.
- Assist with program planning and athlete development as part of the coaching team.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
- Experience in rhythmic gymnastics as a coach and/or competitive athlete.
- Strong knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics techniques and apparatus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Passion for working with children and youth.
- Ability to motivate athletes while promoting confidence, respect, and sportsmanship.
- NCCP Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
