Purpose
The Logistics Planner is responsible for analyzing and managing one or more assigned Sysco Site's Inbound Logistics network in support of our overall service and financial objectives. This includes optimizing the inbound supply chain to create the most efficient means of transportation to reduce freight expenses and maximize profitability. Additionally, this role is tasked with the identification, analysis, and implementation of opportunities to increase Sysco controlled cases and shared loads across Sites, as well as promote service level and overall process improvements.
