Norco North Shore is looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented part-time Service Technician / Bike Builder to join our growing service team.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for a range of technical service tasks but including bike builds, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. In addition to working behind the scenes, you'll also interact with customers to explain service needs, timelines, and recommendations. This position offers hands-on experience with E-bikes, suspension systems, wheel builds, and more.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform bike builds for sales floor, special orders, and online bike fulfillment
- Diagnose and repair a variety of bicycle systems, including E-bike diagnostics and software updates
- Execute maintenance and tune-ups on customer and store inventory bikes
- Work with the service manager and service writer to communicate repairs and timelines
- Accurately input service details into our POS system (Lightspeed)
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop environment
- 3+ years of experience in bicycle repair and maintenance (IBD experience preferred)
- Proficient in assembling and tuning bikes to high standards
- Strong understanding of current bike technology (suspension, drivetrain, E-bike systems, etc.)
- Experience with Lightspeed POS and industry B2B portals (an asset)
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical info clearly
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available on weekends
