Breka Bakery Group is looking for 2 individuals who join in our Cookie production team at our central kitchen!
We are a fast-paced production team who produce a large volume of cookies, some filling and puff pastries for our BREKA stores!
2 positions: EXPERIENCED BAKER, and ASSISTANT are available. Your job is to produce variety of products with high quality. Please read the requirements below well, and apply the position suited your experience!

SHIFT HOURS:
[FOR BOTH POSITIONS]
- Open availably is preferred. Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays
- 4 to 5days/week, 6 to 8hours per day depending on the production volume.
1. EXPERIENCED BAKER - Require at least one year experience at bakery setting and/or completion of baking school
Shift between 3:30pm and 12am
2. ASSISTANT - No experience required!
Shift between 2pm and 12am

COMPENSATION:
1. BAKER - Starting Wage $20.50/hr
2. ASSISTANT - Starting Wage $19/hr
- Wage increase based on your performance
- 4 months’ Probation period
- Dental and extended health benefit are available after the probation period
JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Assistant will perform only partial duties from below. Mainly hand scoop thousands of cookies daily and packing the products.
- Make Pastry cream, Fillings, Puff/Eclairs
- Measure and mix ingredients following the recipe
- Scoop/Roll/Cut out cookies
- Bake cookies in commercial rotating ovens
- Other prep duties
- Pack products to distribute all BREKA stores
- Maintain the station tidy and clean
REQUIREMENTS:
1. BAKER - Minimum 1 year experienced as a Baker using commercial mixers and ovens, and/or completion of a formal baking school
2. ASSISTANT - No experience required, but some experience worked in the kitchen would be helpful
- Hard-working and high energy is a must
- Able to lift 25kg, and physically fit
- Responsible and be dependable to show up for all shifts
- Positive attitude and able to take direction well
- Self-motivated and can work independently but in a team as well
- Understand work efficiency well and thrive to improve the productivity
- Passionate to produce high quality products consistently
- Must be available to work WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS
