You are registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, hold a baccalaureate degree in Nursing, have 3 to 5 years’ experience working with patients with severe and persistent mental illness and addictions, and have formal leadership/management experience within a unionized hospital setting. Additionally, you will have:
In-depth knowledge of health care and mental health legislation, occupational health and safety, privacy and related legislation, and infection control practices
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to work within a collaborative and diverse inter-disciplinary team.
Understanding of health equity, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
Strong management and leadership skills, self-motivation and the ability to work successfully, both independently and in team settings.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to intervene in critical and complex situations.
Computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office suite, staffing and workload applications.
Assets
A Master of Nursing, Health Administration or equivalent.
Previous teaching experience.
Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language.
Experience managing issues of occupational health and safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary is competitive and based on experience, with a hiring range of $110,020.48 – $137,525.60 per year.
- Employees in this role may progress within the full pay range of $110,020.48– $165,030.72 per year
