In this role, you will combine clinical duties with front-office responsibilities, ensuring exceptional patient care from check-in to treatment completion. Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments with precision using dental practice management software such as ABELDent.
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology, and providing chairside support.
- Manage patient records accurately, update medical and dental histories, and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Handle front desk operations including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and managing appointment calendars efficiently.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and preventive dental health practices, especially in pediatric and orthodontic cases.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental equipment is properly sanitized and functioning optimally.
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and processing payments using ABELDent systems.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with experience in dental assisting procedures.
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front-office role within a dental practice.
- Familiarity with dental software such as ABELDent for scheduling, billing, and record management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics to facilitate effective communication.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and understanding of pediatric dental care best practices.
- Ability to operate CAD technology for digital impressions or X-ray imaging.
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to create a positive patient experience.

Pay: $29.00-$30.50 per hour
