Calscapes is hiring Flaggers / Traffic Control Persons to support our landscaping, snow removal, line painting, and property maintenance crews across the Calgary region. This is hands-on, outdoor work — you’ll be on your feet, on site, and part of a crew that takes safety seriously.
What You'll Do
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around active job sites using stop/slow paddles and hand signals
- Set up and maintain signage, cones, and traffic control devices on landscaping, snow removal, and line painting sites
- Communicate clearly with crew members, equipment operators, and the public
- Maintain daily traffic control logs as required
- Support crews with general site setup and cleanup as needed
What You Need
- Valid TCP / Flagger certification (or willing to obtain — we’ll cover the cost)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Comfortable standing for long periods, outdoors, in all weather — including early mornings and winter conditions for snow removal call-outs
- Strong communication skills and a calm, alert presence under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
What We Offer
- $18–22/hr depending on experience
- Steady seasonal hours, with year-round opportunities across landscaping, snow removal, and epoxy divisions
- Paid certification if you don’t already have it
- Room to grow into other roles within Calscapes (crew lead, equipment operation, and more)
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
