Construction Labourer / Equipment Operator
We are hiring reliable and safety-focused construction labourers and equipment operators for upcoming projects. Applicants must be able to provide copies of all applicable worker certifications, safety tickets, and operator credentials before starting work.
This helps ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work safely on active job sites and follow all company safety procedures
- Operate equipment only when properly trained and certified
- Assist with construction, site preparation, labour work, and project-related tasks
- Follow directions from supervisors and site leads
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide valid certifications and training documents when requested
Required Certifications / Competencies
Applicants should have some or all of the following certifications:
- Fall Protection
- SCOT
- WHMIS
- Operator Certificates
Important: Equipment operator certifications must include practical hands-on training and evaluation. Online-only certificates will not be accepted for equipment operation roles.
Equipment Certifications May Include
- Aerial Work Platform / Elevated Work Platform
- Telehandler
- Forklift
- Skid Steer
- Other similar equipment certifications, as applicable
Requirements
- Previous construction or equipment operation experience is an asset
- Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and willing to learn
- Must be able to provide valid certification documents
- Must be able to work well with a team
- Must be willing to follow all site safety rules and company policies
- Must have practical hands-on training for any equipment they operate
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$26.94 per hour
