Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components for potential issues or malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Follow safety procedures and regulations when working on HVAC systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- Certification or license as an HVAC technician
- Minimum G2 gas license
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Ability to weld and plumb HVAC systems
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
- Familiarity with boilers and other heating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
