Job Overview
Beast Pizza is seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves taking orders, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Server will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our patrons while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences is a plus
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal drinking age laws
- Assist in food service when necessary, including serving food items and handling food safely
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of legal requirements related to alcohol service
