Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bindery Operator and Shipping to join our dynamic team in Richmond Hill. Responsibilities
- Operate binding equipment and perform finishing tasks such as trimming, folding, collating, and binding to meet project specifications
- Booklet maker operation
- Manage the packaging, labeling, and shipping of finished products (using couriers and computer portal for finding shipping), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Strong knowledge of print finishing techniques including hand bindery methods and quality control procedures
- Be able to lift boxes up to 40lbs
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in all aspects of production and shipping processes
