Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Concrete Workers and Asphalt Workers with paving experience to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, formwork, and related masonry skills. This role involves working on various construction projects, including commercial and residential sites, requiring precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. Candidates with knowledge of blueprint reading, heavy equipment operation, and renovation projects will be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while developing your skills in a dynamic environment. Hourly wage is based on your experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set forms for concrete pouring, ensuring accurate measurements using schematics and blueprints
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cutting, shaping, and installing formwork and rebar
- Mix, pour, spread, and finish concrete surfaces with attention to detail to ensure smoothness and durability
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials according to project specifications
- Use masonry skills for restoration or renovation projects involving concrete structures
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support construction activities
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques as needed for waterproofing or finishing touches
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers or compactors when required
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Read blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, masonry, or related construction fields
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various phases of construction projects
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
- Knowledge of welding, flooring installation, caulking, restoration, or renovation is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
