Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Canine Coach to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for training, socializing, and caring for dogs to ensure they develop good behavior and obedience. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary. This position offers an engaging environment where you can make a positive impact on both dogs and their owners.
Duties
- Conduct training sessions to teach dogs basic commands and improve behavior
- Socialize dogs to ensure they are comfortable around people and other animals
- Assist with the daily care and maintenance of the daycare and boarding facility
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about training progress and techniques
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or dogs as needed for training activities
- Monitor and document each dog's progress throughout their training program
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for dogs and staff
- Engage in active play, redirection, and enrichment to support a positive and stimulating experience for the dogs.
- Follow all protocols and procedures established during training.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with dogs or in a customer service role is preferred
- Passion for animal welfare and training
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Reliable, patient, and attentive to detail
- Ability to work in a physically active environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects or animals as required
- Consistent, on-time attendance
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Motivation to promote our services when opportunities arise

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
