We are a new upscale dining destination in the heart of Sylvan Lake. Designed to deliver a refined yet welcoming lakeside experience, our restaurant will focus on elevated cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and thoughtfully curated menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients.
We are seeking staff for both seasonal and permanent positions and looking for passionate and motivated people to fill a variety of roles reporting to the head chef.
Line Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher, and Kitchen Supervisor are the positions we are currently hiring for.
Any level of skill and experience is welcome, we anticipate to be very busy all summer. We have flexible schedule availability and will need a full team of opening and closing line cooks and prep cooks as well as supervisors in those areas as well.
Ideal Line Cook and Prep Cook candidates will:
- Be able to work in a cohesive team environment with strong communication skills
- Have some cooking experience
- Be organized and punctual with an attention to detail
- Be self motivated and able to execute a list of tasks with minimal guidance once trained
- Have food safety training preferably
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and specs designed by the head chef
- Be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Work well with the front of house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Ideal Dishwasher candidates will:
- Be able to work in a cohesive team environment with strong communication skills
- Be organized and punctual with an attention to detail
- Be self motivated and able to execute a list of tasks with minimal guidance once trained
- Be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Work well with the front of house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Do light kitchen prep work as well such as portioning and simple recipe tasks
Ideal Kitchen Supervisor candidates will:
- Be able to help lead a cohesive team with strong communication skills
- Have at least 3-5 years cooking experience with preference for previous leadership experience and culinary training
- Be organized and punctual with an attention to detail
- Be self motivated and able to lead a team in the absence of the head chef
- Have food safety training
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and specs designed by the head chef, as well as contribute to new menu item development
- Be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Be proficient with digital POS systems and kitchen display screens
- Have experience with ordering, inventory management, labour control, and schedule building
- Have experience with interviewing new job candidates, training new staff, and disciplining staff if necessary
- Work well with the front of house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
