We are currently recruiting Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) to support our Vancouver and South Surrey BrainStim Health Clinics. We are open to both full‑time and part‑time availability, with scheduling options that support Vancouver, South Surrey, or a blended rotation across both locations.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with a background in psychiatric nursing who are passionate about mental health, patient‑centred care, and innovative treatment modalities.
Job Summary:
The RPN provides exceptional patient care within our ketamine‑assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and neuromodulation programs. This role supports both clinical service delivery and operational excellence across our Vancouver and South Surrey clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-treatment assessments, vitals, and safety screenings
- Administer IM or SL ketamine (sub-anesthetic doses)
- Administer and monitor Spravato treatments
- Provide continuous monitoring and trauma-informed support during sessions
- Lead documentation standards and care coordination
- Support clinical workflows and uphold safety protocols
- Mentor nursing staff and collaborate closely with psychiatrists and therapists
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Current registration as an RPN in good standing with BCCNM
- Professional Liability Protection (PLP) maintained independently by the candidate
- Cleared Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- BLS certification required; ACLS considered an asset
- Experience in mental health, psychedelic‑assisted therapy, or trauma‑informed care
- Strong clinical judgment and a patient‑centred approach
- Ability to reliably commute to the Vancouver and/or South Surrey clinics
