Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food and beverage items are prepared to the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations as needed.
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with cashiering systems is an advantage but can be learned on the job.
