We're searching for an organized, proactive, and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to become an integral part of our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, educating patients, coordinating care, and helping patients confidently move forward with treatment.
What You'll Do
As our Treatment Coordinator, you'll guide patients through their treatment journey—from their initial consultation to completed care—while ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
Core responsibilities include:
- Coordinating treatment plans and scheduling care
- Presenting treatment recommendations and discussing financial options
- Helping patients understand the value of recommended treatment
- Managing patient scheduling and appointment flow
- Coordinating hygiene recall and reactivation
- Following up on outstanding treatment and unscheduled care
- Welcoming patients and creating an exceptional first impression
- Answering phones, emails, and patient inquiries
- Processing payments and insurance submissions
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting the clinical team to ensure appointments run efficiently
- Preparing financial reports and monitoring treatment acceptance metrics
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to treatment acceptance and patient retention
- Meeting with leadership to review workflow, patient experience, and performance metrics
- Helping develop systems that improve efficiency, communication, and patient outcomes
- Following AR for your deartment and working with the team to ensure accuracy of claims and followups

Qualifications
Required:
- Previous dental administration or treatment coordination experience
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
- Knowledge of dental insurance and insurance predeterminations
- Experience with recall systems and patient communication
- Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental is considered an asset)
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience tracking KPIs and reporting practice metrics
- Strong understanding of periodontal treatment and comprehensive care planning
- Experience working in a collaborative, patient-centred practice

Experience:
- Dental receptionist: 5 years (required)
