Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to support daily operations in our healthcare practice. This role is responsible for coordinating patient care, managing appointments, assisting with billing and administrative tasks, and helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, rescheduling, and calendar management.
- Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information in a professional manner.
- Assist with billing activities, payment processing, invoice preparation, and basic insurance-related follow-up.
- Support appointment reminders, patient communication, and care coordination tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records, files, and administrative documentation.
- Assist with clinic workflow, including correspondence, faxing, scanning, filing, and data entry.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, insurance teams, and other departments as needed.
- Help manage referrals, authorizations, and documentation related to patient services.
- Monitor office supplies and support general front-desk or administrative duties.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with office procedures.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical office support, patient coordination, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, email, and data entry software.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with medical billing, insurance verification, or claims follow-up.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or patient management systems.
