Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, draft and review legal documents, and represent clients in various legal matters. This role requires strong research, negotiation, and writing skills, with a focus on delivering precise and effective legal solutions. The Lawyer will play a vital role in ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and legal analysis
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence
- Negotiate settlements and contractual terms with clients, vendors, or opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
- Provide clear legal advice to clients or internal teams on various issues including compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, or court proceedings when necessary
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Collaborate with other departments to develop policies and procedures that align with current legal standards
- Maintain meticulous records of case files, legal research, and correspondence for future reference
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in legal research and drafting legal documents
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients or the organization
- Excellent writing skills for clear and persuasive communication
- Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong ethical standards and professional integrity
Pay: $57,986.13-$175,545.83 per year
