Headquartered in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, with service hubs in Leduc and Grande Prairie, AB, and Williston, ND, IJACK is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician based in the Weyburn/Estevan, SK, area to join our team. An opportunity also exists to establish a service hub in the successful candidate’s area, depending on location.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing IJACK equipment on O&G leases throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba. You will also provide technical support and training to our valued clients while contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and processes.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the oil and gas service industry and/or heavy-duty mechanic apprentices.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission IJACK's products on oil and gas leases
- Diagnose, service, repair and perform routine maintenance on IJACK's equipment
- Provide technical support and training to operators via phone, email and in-person.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Participate in service inventory management in your designated warehouse
- Work in safe manner and participate in toolbox and safety meetings.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a field service technician or related role.
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to travel for work and be away from home at least one day per week
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
