Overview
We are looking for on-call chefs and cooks. After a trial shift to assess skill level (with compensation), you will be added to our scheduling software to claim shifts that you wish to take. These shifts / events take place throughout the Lower Mainland, from Harrison Hot Springs to West Vancouver. We will also need assistance in our kitchen with prep for events and other catering orders, those shifts will also be available to you as well.
Duties
- Take directionfrom kitchen chefs for preparation and execution of menu on-site
- Set up off-site kitchens based on equipment available to you that has been arranged prior to event.
- Clean and maintain off-site kitchen in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Adhere to all sanitation and food preparations codes and guidelines
- Assist on-site Event Manager with communication about food timing and any client questions pertaining to the food/menu

Qualifications
- Kitchen and/or catering cooking experience
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- FoodSafe Level 1
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Shifts vary in location and while sometimes transportation may be available, it is the individual person’s responsibility to get to and from event
