Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Take customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system effectively.
- Provide recommendations on drink selections and promote special offers to enhance guest experience.
- Monitor guest consumption levels to ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food service principles.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink costs.
- Experience with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Cash handling experience is preferred to manage payments accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance in beverage preparation.
