About the Opportunity
Assists residents with hygiene and daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobilizing according to the work assignment
Monitors clients assessed for at risk behaviors (exploring, falls, choking, etc.) and intervenes appropriately when necessary.
Communicates with the CSC if there is a noted change in the health status of the client e.g. decreases in appetite, increase in confusion, physical weakness, etc.
About You

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a?clear Criminal Record Check, and?where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check, prior to appointment.
Basic Food Safety /Food Handlers Course is considered an asset
Completed Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia Care Course is considered an asset
Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays
