As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and support our people, culture, recruitment, and HR operations.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will play an important role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, documentation, and company culture initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in Human Resources while gaining exposure to multiple aspects of HR within a fast-paced and growing organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees across various departments including warehouse operations, transportation, customer service, administration, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities from sourcing to onboarding.
- Create and post job advertisements on various recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with offer preparation and onboarding processes.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives.
Human Resources Administration
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Ensure HR records are accurate, organized, and compliant.
- Support employee documentation, attendance records, and HR reporting.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and HR-related inquiries.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, forms, and guides.
- Maintain documentation related to employee performance, coaching, attendance, and development.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
Employee Relations & Company Culture
- Support employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Assist with company events, employee initiatives, and culture-building activities.
- Help foster a positive, professional, and inclusive work environment.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with employees and management.
- Support communication between departments and employees.
Business & Administrative Support
- Assist management with administrative and HR-related projects.
- Support leadership initiatives and organizational growth objectives.
- Work collaboratively with managers and team members across departments.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely completion.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- CPHR designation or working toward CPHR is considered an asset.
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
