Overview
We are seeking a reliable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, be a reliable team player, offer product guidance, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role requires an understanding of cannabis products, good communication skills, and the ability to operate retail systems efficiently. The Budtender will play a key role in promoting responsible consumption and enhancing the overall customer experience. Successful candidates will be required to obtain a valid CannaSell certificate before starting employment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate products based on their needs and preferences
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing and stock replenishment procedures
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via in-person interactions or over the phone
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and age restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Support team leadership in training new staff members when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in retail is beneficial
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills are preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement or display setup
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
