We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle management of hardware and software assets across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for asset inventory, procurement, licensing compliance, vendor management, audits, and asset optimization while ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hardware and software asset lifecycles from procurement through disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories and CMDB records.
- Monitor software licensing compliance and support audits.
- Coordinate asset deployments, transfers, and retirements.
- Work with vendors, procurement, and IT teams to optimize asset utilization.
- Generate reports, analyze asset data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Required Skills:
- Experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, or similar ITAM tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and CMDB management.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred:
- ITIL Certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of software licensing and vendor contract management.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
