We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Company Drivers for cross-border open deck operations between Canada and the United States. This role involves hauling a variety of flatbed and specialized freight, requiring strong knowledge of load securement and cross-border procedures. Drivers can expect consistent miles, regular travel into the U.S., and a high level of communication with dispatch to ensure safe, on-time deliveries. Professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities

Operate super-b combination units to transport and deliver loads to customers

Perform trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness

Maintain daily logs, trip sheets, inspection sheets, and required paperwork

Comply with all provincial, state, and federal laws and regulations including hours of service and occupational health and safety

Communicate daily with the dispatch team regarding load details, safety concerns, and scheduling

Ensure proper cleaning of hopper trailers to prevent cross contamination

Operate anhydrous ammonia trailers following company training and regulatory requirements

Operate super-b liquid tankers and safely handle hoses with product
-
Maintain a clean driving record by following proper safety precautions

Monitor and maintain reasonable fuel economy

Maintain a clean and tidy interior and exterior of tractor and trailer
-
Climb into hopper trailers for cleaning purposes as required

Complete other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Class 1A or Commercial Driver’s License

Minimum two years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience preferred

Strong knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory requirements

Proven reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic

Professional communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Ability to lift, secure, and tarp loads as required
