Test Technician / Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job Type: 3-4 months contract.

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician / Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring, assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting the development of custom electrical and automated test systems.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in electrical or electro-mechanical assembly who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform wiring and assembly of electrical and electro-mechanical systems according to schematics, drawings, and work instructions
Assemble components, subassemblies, control panels, and test equipment
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings
Verify assemblies through inspection and point-to-point testing
Integrate test instruments and control panels into complete systems
Perform system testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and verification
Assist mechanical engineers with assembly of test frames and equipment
Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately
Maintain inventory levels and assist with material tracking
Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Travel within the GTA as required for on-site installation, testing, and repair work
Qualifications
College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician, or equivalent
Previous experience in test technician, electrical assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly roles
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience assembling automated test systems
Familiarity with control panels, instrumentation, and electrical testing equipment
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
