Position Overview
The Campbell River Hospital Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and highly professional Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). Based in Campbell River, BC, this on-site role is integral to the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and provides administrative support to both the Executive Director and the Events & Communications Director.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and a strong customer-service orientation. They are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with a diverse range of stakeholders, and handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office administration and reception functions
- Maintain accurate records, files, and office systems
- Provide exceptional service and support to donors, volunteers, staff, and community partners
- Assist with donor database management and data entry
- Support fundraising events, campaigns, and special projects
- Assist with financial and reporting tasks as required
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Events & Communications Director
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration, administrative support, or a related role
- 1-3 Years similar experience
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor database/CRM system is considered an asset
- Experience with Simply Accounting or similar software
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software
- Experience working in a non-profit, charitable, or healthcare environment is an asset
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage of $25.00–$35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills
- Vacation time and benefits eligibility based on hours worked
