Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company service vehicle in support of Canada Post operations.
- Respond to service calls involving Canada Post fleet vehicles.
- Provide roadside assistance, including:
- Battery boosts and battery replacements
- Tire changes
- Lockout services
- Fuel delivery
- Minor roadside repairs when possible
- Transport disabled vehicles or coordinate towing services when required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain assigned equipment.
- Accurately complete service documentation using company technology.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout each service call.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies, Ministry of Transportation regulations, and Canada Post service standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class D Driver's Licence (required).
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Clean criminal background check.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Mechanically inclined; automotive or roadside assistance experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
