Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Full-Time Barista/Cashier to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, preparing quality beverages and food items, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cash handling, with a passion for creating positive customer experiences.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and manage register operations with precision.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
- Ensure timely service during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with knowledge of serving and food preparation.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay: $25.00-$28.47 per hour
