Group Fitness Instructor + Community Engagement & Events Coordinator
F45 Sunnylea | South Etobicoke
We’re on the hunt for a Group Fitness Instructor who’s also our community glue—the one who coaches, connects, and brings the hype.
About the Role
You’ll be coaching F45 classes with all the energy and expertise we expect—but you’ll also be the driving force behind our events and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
We’re excited to grow our training team with someone who can instantly click with both our coaches and our members. We’re looking for that upbeat, positive team player who lights up a room the moment they walk in. The kind of person who makes members exhale with relief as soon as they see them at the studio door—because they know they’re in great hands. Someone who brings unstoppable energy, genuine support, and a bright spark that leaves every member feeling empowered and proud of what they accomplished in class.
Coaching & Member Experience
- Lead F45 classes with a positive, motivating presence.
- Welcome new members, guiding them through body scans and goals appointments—uncover their “why” and keep them engaged.
- Track trial participants’ progress—class attendance, challenge participation, and overall satisfaction. Ensure each new member feels supported and connected.
Community Events Coordination
- Manage the studio event calendar: plan, coordinate, and execute events—both our classics (LionHeart Games, Summer Survivor) and your new ideas.
- Collaborate with our graphics and social media team to create event posters, social posts, and ensure timely promotion.
- Print and post event materials in the studio.
- Order decor, costumes, and set up the studio for themed events.
- Attend events to capture photos and videos for social media reels.
Team & Member Communication
- Ensure all trainers are fully briefed on upcoming events and actively promoting them.
- Gather event ideas from members and turn them into future calendar items.
Qualifications
- Group fitness certification or personal training certification preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and people skills.
- Experience in events, community building, or marketing is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including events and weekends.
- Current first aid and CPR certification
- Independent Personal liability insurance
- A genuine passion for fitness. Meaning – fitness is a hobby outside of your job (not just your mandatory work outs to stay in shape).
